Electric Appliance Installations

 

Dishwashers, Microwaves, Ovens, and Cooktops

CONGRATULATIONS on the purchase of your new appliance(s) and installation through your local retailer.   Your purchase includes basic installation of your product. 

BASIC INSTALLATION LABOR INCLUDES:

  • Installer delivery of new appliance within 20 miles (1-way) from store
  • Reconnecting the new appliance in the same opening and hooking up to existing plumbing and electrical lines. (Installer supplies misc. fittings as needed)*
  • Install anti-tip bracket if supplied, with appliance.
  • Disposal of old appliance
  • Test to ensure proper operation
  • Final clean-up of job site

*If you are not replacing an existing unit, going from a basic unit to a different sized unit, need piping, cabinet or gas modifications there may be additional charges.  Please call our office to discuss your particular situation. 

MATERIAL(S) SUPPLIED BY INSTALLER:

  • Plumbing connection fittings to connect appliance to existing plumbing . (Does not include required dishwasher drain line which must be purchased from retailer) 
  • Electrical connection fittings to connect appliance to existing electrical.
  • Electrical Box / Outlet / Cover Plate for conversion of Range Hood to OTR Microwave (Included with conversion fee)
  • Venting Material for downdrafts (Included with down draft fee)

To insure your installation goes smooth, be sure you have purchased all the customer required components of your installation.   For the installation of appliances the customer is responsible for providing the following parts:

MATERIAL(S) SOLD BY HOME IMPROVEMENT STORES TO BE PROVIDED BY CUSTOMER:

  • Appropriate appliance (Dishwasher/ Micro-hood/ Range hood/ Built in Oven/ Compactor/ Cook Top/Drop-In Range/Built-In Microwave with Trim Kit)
  • Dishwasher drain line (if applicable) 
  • Electric pigtail (if applicable)

On occasion we do run into instances where additional labor or material are required to complete the installation.  These instances could be due to modifications necessary for the new product to be installed, new code requirements to bring your home up to date as required by local ordinances or other pre-existing contains you may not be aware of.   In these instances, additional charges will apply. 

There may also be times when your particular worksite circumstance is outside of the authorized scope of work for the retailer where you purchased your product. 

SERVICES NOT OFFERED THRU RETAIL INSTALLATIONS and OTHER SPECIAL NOTATIONS:

  • Services Not Offered: Structural modifications
  • Services Not Offered: Removal of cabinetry to accommodate new appliance.
  • Services Not Offered: Upgrade of electrical service. We do not offer installation or changing of electrical panels.
  • Special Notation: Replacement of circuit breakers (requires licensed electrician).

Please call our office to discuss any of these special circumstances prior to your installation. 

Once we receive confirmation and authorization from your retailer our office will contact you within 2 business days to schedule your installation.   Service can be requested by calling our installation team at (770) 704-1915 Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. or you may request a call back via internet request  or schedule directly online 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
