Customers water was built in 2017 and it’s past the manufactures warranty. Technician highly recommends not flushing out the unit due to the risk involved, and customer chose not to proceed at time of appointment.
Completed whole home, plumbing evaluation. Only issues found inside of home is a failed pressure regulating valve that is currently fluctuating. When technician first check the water pressure it was reading close to 80 psi, and one technician double checked it was sitting at 55psi. We will need to completely replace the pressure regulating valve in the stand up, crawlspace to resolve the issue. No other major issues found.
Customer was unaware he would be charged a service call as he thought this repair would be under warranty. The customer supplied Toto toilet we installed back in December of 2023 is missing the flush seal on the bottom of the flush valve with an additional clip piece missing as well. Explained to customer that if this part was not removed somehow before my visit, it would he inside the toilet. We do not build the toilet tanks, they are shipped out pre built and all we do is install the on the bowl provided. This is not a warrantied repair, labor warranty is only 30 days for non members. Customer asked me to leave. Unable to complete repair, collected service call, or completely safety inspection.
