The office staff is very pleasant and prompt with addressing any questions. The appointments were quick and easy to make. The technician, Travis, went out of his way to do an outstanding job. He made sure to order the recommended company model connectors instead of taking short cuts so as to prevent any future gas leakages. He also replaced the gas line behind my dryer which had been incorrectly installed and was leaking gas. I would highly recommend this company.

I have had the most frustrating experience with My Georgia Plumber (MGP) and my home warranty (American Home Shield) for about a week now that is yet to be resolved. Last Tues., Atlanta Gas Light (AGL) inspected our condo building for a reported gas leak & it was determined multiple leaks were coming from my unit. They said that I would need to contact a plumber to fix.I reached out to AHS that night and sent them all of the documentation provided with the initial diagnosis from AGL. On this documentation, a pressure test was recommended. A pro was sent out on Wed. who came & inspected. He told me that he could not find any leaks and that AGL sometimes lies to people about leaks in order to get "points" with the company. I called AGL to come back and confirm again - AGL returned that night and confirmed to me with multiple tests.I reached back out to MGP and told them this was the case and that AGL said a pressure test was required in order to fully diagnose on the side of the plumber. MGP set up an appointment with me for Thurs. but then was unable to come without approval from AHS for the pressure test. They ended up sending another tech on Friday morning who cut holes in my drywall that remain. It went very quickly from a diagnosis on Wednesday of "I can't find anything at all" to "you need to fully repipe your entire gas line". I was provided a quote of around $5400 to do so which through communicating with other pros was told this is quite high. As I pay for my home warranty, I would like to try to go through them first as it's a huge unexpected expense that according to the documentation should hopefully be covered. The pro that day told me to reach out to the MGP office to set up an appointment and let them know the urgency of timing due to upcoming jury duty and work travel and had already had to stay home from the office 3 days that week for the appointments taking place.I called and spoke with Christine or Christina (I'm sorry I don't fully recall) around 11am on Fri. after the pro left my house. I explained to her the urgency of the situation and she assured me that they'd rush the estimate to AHS and that I should hopefully have an answer by the end of the day or Monday at the latest but I could check in later that day. I did and was told via text message that they were "waiting on AHS". By the end of the day, AHS explained that they still did not have a copy of the estimate in their hands so they could not provide any update.I reached out again on Mon. on multiple occasions to both MGP and AHS because I did not know who was telling me the truth and who was potentially lying to me. I was told via text from MGP that they were still waiting on AHS. AHS first misquoted and told me that it was approved and they had already notified the vendor so I reached out to MGP to get on the schedule. MGP then confirmed they had not yet sent any type of estimate in so there's no way that is possible. I touched base again with AHS who realized their error and said they were waiting on MGP. I called MGP about 10 minutes before closing as I sent a follow up text with no response. I was told by Samantha that they had sent the estimate in to their "AHS Field Manager" for evaluation.I reached out to AHS this morning (now Tuesday) to follow up &. they told me that they've not received an estimate & did not know of any "Field Manager" I was referring to. They said the estimate HAD to go to go through the approvals dept and no other options were available. I sent this via text to MGP this morning as I'm at jury duty & cannot call & have not yet received a response. I have explained I travel soon for over a week for work & need some sort of answer because at this point I've had no gas for a week & have 2 days left this week before leaving town for over a week that I could either search for new estimates and/or have service done. I hope at this point I get an update soon but it's not promising. I understand the warranty process, but they still don't even have the estimate in hand.

I am disappointed, to say the least. I have been almost 2 weeks without hot water and the best I can get is, "If the plumber comes now, we will charge you the after hours fee." The summary is poor customer service, poor communication, and poor managing systems.I called on Saturday and requested service, I was given the impression that a worker would be able to come and get the work done. Later that day, I was given a text saying that they cannot "get a water heater today". Sunday night, 8:30 PM, I got a text saying an appointment was scheduled, without asking me for times, for Monday 8:00 AM. Within the 12 hrs notice, while sleeping, I was not able to get off work. Monday, the worker came. I called My Ga Plumber to find out why the work was not done to find out the worker left. Another text was sent saying I had an appointment for Tuesday, again without asking me for good times and again I was not able to get off work. The worker came to my home on Tuesday. I came home to no work completed AGAIN. I called My Ga Plumber again to find out that they are waiting for me to pay a deposit??? Pleases notice, I have no work completed in 4 days, no information about what is wrong with the water heater, no information about charges or deposits, and I have been the one calling them! The next time I called them, I spoke to the manager. She was able to tell me the details and we were able to begin the process. I have been 6 days without hot water at this point. Now, we have to order a water heater and wait for it to come in. 2 days later, I still have not heard from them. So, I called them AGAIN and was told "the water heater should be here by Friday". I requested an appointment for Friday, she would not set it up, I requested an appointment for Saturday, she would not set it up. Friday came and went without a phone call. Monday came and went until 5:00 PM. I got a text saying my worker was running late and would not make it. I called AGAIN and said that he could come, but again I was told that I would be charged the after hours fee. So, here we are today. The worker is at my house, currently, fingers crossed! If I don't have hot water after all this, what do I do???

Preston and his associate came out to check on the HWH the other day and noted that outside of the problem, I had other issues due to the model of the heater being outdated. They quickly resolved and replaced my heater within a couple hours of returning without any problems or interference to my day.

I wish I could give zero stars! They are the vendor for my landlord company and every time they come out they don’t fix the problem and tell me one thing then they tell my landlord another and close my ticket like they fixed the problem! I’ve keep going through this and recently they told me I have a crack in the main drain pipe from the house to the septic tank but told my landlord I have 10 ppl living in my home that’s insane! It’s just me and my 2 girls there and we are the only ppl they ever see. My water bill is only $15-$20 dollars a month so how is 10 ppl in my home? Y’all are just lazy and weird. Oh and the issue still isn’t fixed.

We had issues with water pressure at our house. We went from having 35psi with the full house pressurized and much less than that when any water was running for any duration to about 55psi. We can finally fill a glass of water in under a minute vs walking away and coming back to something 2/3 full. Very pleased with the work by Preston and Melvin.

My Georgia Plumber provided incomplete and unacceptable service at our time of need. After two service visits and invoices paid in full, we requested contact with the service manager to ensure they had everything necessary for a successful final visit. My Georgia Plumber’s service manager refused to speak with us and had the receptionist inform us we should ‘find another service provider because they do not do this type of work’.My Georgia Plumber’s response was dismissive and unprofessional but also brazenly contrary to their marketing promises:“You Deserve The Best. So Meet The Best. The Top Choice For Plumbing in North Metro Atlanta, GA”. “Our Singular Goal Is To Take Care Of You”.My Georgia Plumber refused to complete the job, left us with no service, no referrals, no recommendations, and no help toward any solution. Not using My Georgia Plumber again! I had a leaky shower nozzle. This is normally a bad showerCartridge. The first tech could not get the handle off. The second tech broke the shower valve trying to get the cartridge out. This caused them to have to cut out sheet rock to fix the valve or we couldn't use water in the house. They came out to fix the valve the third time to fix the shower, leaving me with this.They promised to have someone fix the sheet rock, but I’m still waiting. Don’t waste your time!!So..They came back and repaired the sheet rock after this post.

Our experience with My Georgia Plumber has been up and down. The majority of the plumbers they send are knowledgeable and courteous, but if a problem is caused by one of their crew members the management will go out of its way not to be reached or reach out.The owner who came to our house all but accused us of causing damage caused by his workers before stating that he didn't even see any damage done to our flooring, and then he had his wife quietly deny our claim from an email address we hadn't been told to expect email from (and was thus forwarded to junk mail with a5 business day response TAT to respond to the denial) despite having been told we would hear from them directly.Everything about our dealings with the owners has soured our otherwise good view of this company we had used for years. Do not use this company - Plumb Medic, Mr. Plumber, or really any other plumbing companies should be your go-to before you use this service.

I can’t say enough great things about My Georgia Plumbing. They are professional, punctual and skilled at what they do. We had a repair through our home warranty and the 1st company that they selected, not only installed a tankless hot water heater incorrectly, they never returned our calls. My Georgia Plumbing went above and beyond to make us whole again and fix the hot water heater that was installed incorrectly from the start.
